Ellen Terry
Ellen Terry [Ellen Terry]
(1847–1928) an English actor famous for her performances with Henry Irving in plays by Shakespeare. She was also known for the clever and amusing letters she and George Bernard Shaw exchanged in the 1890s, which were published in 1931. She was made a ↑dame in 1925.
